Criteria for Entry 
 i.	A New Zealander of Pacific Island descent
 ii.	65years + as of Monday 11th August 2003
 iii.	Resided in Wellington for at least 30 years
 iv.	Has achieved success in any field of work
 v.	Significant contribution to the community in Wellington
 vi.	Demonstrated commitment to improving the Pacific community in 
	Wellington

Criteria for Entry           
i.	A New Zealand male of Pacific Island decent who manages and
	owns at least 50% of their own business and has at least three years’
	experience and can demonstrate innovative and.entrepreneurial        
	flair
ii.	Resided in the Wellington region for a minimum of 5 years at any one 
	time

iii.	Is aged 25 years and under as of Monday 11th August 2003

The 2003 Wellington Pacific Peoples Awards nominations will be judged by a panel
of experienced business and community people convened by the Ministry of
Pacific Island Affairs.

The judges’ decisions are final on all matters relating to the Awards and no
correspondence will be entered into.
